To our patients,
I hope you and yours are doing well and staying safe. On behalf of InVision we want to thank you for your support and patience. We are working hard to do everything possible to serve your needs while protecting both your health and safety as well as our staff.
We are happy to announce that we will be taking patients again within the next couple weeks. We have a restricted schedule to ensure minimal people in the building.
We have updated our new COVID-19 patient and staff protocols. They are as follows:
You will be emailed a link to our online patient portal with our patient forms that are to be completed prior to your appointment. If you do not have access to fill out the forms, we can mail you the forms and ask that you bring them with you at the time of your appointment, or you can arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the forms. A staff member will take the forms out to your vehicle when you arrive.
We have moved to a virtual waiting room at this time. When you arrive at our office, we ask that you please text us at (505) 349-8784 or call us at (505) 341-2020 and select option 3. We will let Dr. Cohen know you are here and you will then be instructed to enter the building when appropriate to get pre-testing started. At this time we will take your co-pay or deductible over the phone and e-mail you a receipt.

Everyone who enters InVision will have their temperature checked. This applies to every staff member, patient, visitor and vendor. Any individual that has a temperature of 99.6 degrees or higher will be gently turned away and asked to reschedule for a minimum of 14 days. If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment.
In order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we are requiring ALL adult patients and visitors to arrive at their appointment with a face covering or mask. If you do not have a face mask, you may purchase one from our office for $5.00.
All waiting area surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected several times a day. Contact points, such as brochures, magazines, toys and books have been removed to minimize the number of surfaces that are touched.
The fewer people in and out of our office reduces the chance of spread even further. For that reason we ask you to not bring anyone to your appointment unless absolutely necessary. There is a limit of one person per patient and only if the visitor is required for assistance or if the patient is a minor. We will not allow more than one family member with a minor in the building, this does include siblings. The parent or guardian is more than welcome to wait outside with the siblings while the patient completes the appointment with Dr. Cohen.
Each room is cleaned and disinfected before and after each patient. Dr. Cohen and therapists will continue to wash their hands before and after each patient. We ask that each patient wash their hands once they enter the pre-testing room for your optometry appointment or enter the gym if you are a therapy patient.
Contacts will be directly shipped to our patients house. Unfortunately if they are a trial pair, we cannot ship them directly. In that case we will provide curbside pickup. Once you are notified that your trial pair is ready and come to pick them up, call or text the office and a staff member will bring your trial contacts out to you.
Our priority will always be the health and safety of our patients and staff. We are taking every precaution to ensure that InVision is safe and clean for you.
We are looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Dr. Cohen and staff
